My wife called a local HVAC business to schedule a tune-up appointment. The HVAC business allowed my wife to pick the date and the time. Since my wife works from home on Tuesday afternoon, she picked that day and time for the tune-up service. I talked to my wife at lunch time and she was expecting to see the HVAC repair technician at 1. About a half an hour before the scheduled appointment time, my wife received a phone call from the HVAC business. The technician scheduled to service our system was caught in traffic and running late. My wife thought the technician might be a few minutes late, but the guy was over an hour late for that appointment. My wife had other things scheduled for the afternoon and she had to move some plans around when the HVAC technician was late. Luckily, we didn’t spend a fortune on the HVAC tune up. We decided to use the new business because they were running a special. We certainly couldn’t complain about the service when we were paying a very small fee. Some of our neighbors paid a lot more money for the same service. The HVAC tech was thorough and precise while checking all of our equipment. The guy was in the house for almost an hour looking at our mechanical and electrical components. When he was finished, he gave my wife a full report on each part of the HVAC system. If the guy had been on time, it could have easily been a five star service appointment.
